hetchel is planning to allow saving in the .awbw format again in the next version. See some posts above

New Release - AWBW Replay Tool V5

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31240947/AWBWTool-v5.zip

New in V5:
* fixed bug of hidden units; added transparency for hidden units. try it on games_id=151337
* save/load .awbw files are back at last
* other stuff I forgot

Not done yet:
* the power bar image
* support passive CO in tag games
* recognize and display player teams
* display stats on units, attack...
* add html buttons to switch on/off the display of fog and arrows while watching the HTML export
* maybe make it work better on replay of unfinished games

I hope there is no new bug.

Merry Christmas!

I said your Version 3 not working in my PC before time.
(It wasn't crack downlord my gritch)
New Version 4 also too. But version 5 is fine.
This is very glad thing for all players. Thank you very much.

This tool refer to game log and game replay data I think.
Can you add to original game's final result?
Total build, lost and loss value are very very important to research.

I'm happy to hear that the glitch you told me about is now fixed.
In a future version, I plan to add detailed statistics on unit counts.

A replay database would be nice...
And if I added a switch to save or export a game directly from the command line, one could write a script that fetches every finished game, saves them as html and puts them online automatically.
So we'd have online html replays of every game.

This looks like a very useful piece of software! :)

I believe I've found a small bug, however. I tested it with a game today and received the following error when trying to save or export a replay:

Spoiler!

I don't have much programming experience, but I'd guess that this might perhaps be to do with an unusual character; possibly the pipe in my username.

I hope this may be fixable - in any case, keep up the excellent work!

It's true. I couldn't test because I didn't find a game where a mega tank was built.

It should work with this one. If not, tell me which game fails.
