@ichbin (that's my official nickname for you): You do raise some good points, and I think you're right that there aren't enough competitions around AWBW at the moment. I guess mostly I just think it's a shame that there aren't enough people right now for all these great competition ideas to really thrive and prosper...

Well I'm interested in continuing participating into the Neo Ladder. But it's a shame that there are too few players around. There were roundabout twenty when I had joined. Most of them are quite above my competence and it is quite frustrating for everyone to battle for the same rank over and over again. Also, it happens quite often that almost every player on the ladder get busy.

Long story, short term: I'm still in. I hope that the NL can make sorta comeback as an addition to the Colosseum.

@walker...
well more specifically I think one clear difference is the AET of 5 for coloseum and AET=7 for neoladder. The latter works out usually if you have a lifestyle or timetable where you can only "guarantee" a long freetime period at weekends (fri night, sat sun) ( or once a week= 7 days) . No matter which real day (sat Sun, Mon, Tue...) your opponent plays, then in neoladder you will always be able to make your main moves on a weekend if thats your only available time. Whereas with coloseum sometimes its gonna be really awkward or impossible. If your opponent plays on saturday and you dont catch it the very next day, or you dont want to quickly react, then in coloseum you simply cant wait to the following weekend as you get AET on Thursday! But with neoladder you can wait, its different. QED.

Of course you still need to visit mid-week for a quick check of status and make some uncritical moves so not to get booted.
(I also find this useful so i can even go to bed after a quick 5 minute look-over and start to think "a little" about overall plan.. like am i gonna keep attacking, or should I re-group... stuff like that... or just think about the CO differences and how one should be trying to use them --which can be done more or less without seeing the map.. he he.... so perhaps having less time mid-week actually often forces me to think more about whats going on)

Im wondering how many other players like to do their "difficult" plays at weekends... surely i cant be the only one? .......eeeek.

PS..of course not many days are so critical, and openings can often (not always) be done in a flash... and also endings.

I would say yes. I have currently set my vacation flag due to the errors on the site.
But I will be ready to make a game when the site is playable again.

What ichbinsehselber says. I will gladly create our game as soon as the main site is working smoothly.

kamuscha resigns v blanci
http://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=145249
although kams surprise sacrifice SCOPed and infiltrated to arties.., in the end rachels bombs and a little regrouping did it.
Bit of a see-saw i thought... i feel a bit fortunate somehow. Kam moves like lightening fast.. ! Im gonna post this in strategy as its quite a curious unbalanced battle and others may point out things we missed

I challenge Ichbinsehlber (if he is not too busy already) and anyone else who wants a game.

How about rainy? But I don't have a particular preference, so if you want a different map let me know.

@ excrimophalus 1: Rainy - a nice choice
Made the game: ich vs escrimo (sorry I hope you do not mind the typo)
password awbw

@blanc1: On the first page I saw a challenge of you to me. I am only aware of you saying you were going to challenge me. So, if you do, please call the map.
