General rule ?.. as an independant bystander... speaking from the safety of a white UN megatank ... i think the general rule might be rather ....
"not to eliminate anyone who has not been fairly and squarely thrashed"
(or perhaps dont elimate anyone who was on the verge of kicking ass before getting buggered by a bug)
Remembering the massive interest in the first couple of rounds of the no-hold barred tourney, and how quickly that atmosphere petered out (when people were down and out) ... perhaps it not too late to do the following... a swiss style tourney..
OKAY---the winners play the winners, (cf. usual KO part)
losers play losers
drawers play drawers
with a bit of compromise to ensure everyone faces a new opponent.
Of course AWBW is not a very spectator friendly sport... how many people have ever "followed" an AW final ? The knock-out format with a final somehow doesnt generate hysteria en masse nor TV coverage like other sports . Keeping people involved by playing without eliminating might be the way to keep more people animated and participating.
Just an idea. Whatever...
Nice tourney and some interesting maps.
Psycho and co. play on a curios map ... and strangely both players violated opening principles by not buying on every base every turn.
Pity about the AET/APC bug mess .... maybe its connected with the fact that both APC and AET are expressed in same format= 3 caps! (

) Ive heard of wierder things.
