"Unfortunately, that does only apply to you."
Seed Alpha answered, however it was half-hearted and his thoughts were focused elsewhere. If his interpretation of the incoming data was correct, the Kronosian possessed probably not the most powerful, but one of the most versatile abilities in the Grand Battle. So her refusal was a slight setback. Maybe she had realized his true intentions, maybe it was really just her pride or moral code. At any rate, Seed Alpha had still ways left to get what he wanted - to use and more importantly study her.
Even though respecting other beings was neither programmed into him nor particularly pronounced amongst Aevans, he had tried the civil method first. Failing this, he had no qualms about crippling and destroying the greater part of her mind if necessary.
Transferring more of himself into her mind, Seed Alpha hoped that he would manage to pull off a surprise attack that brought her under his control without harming her mind too much. If her mind was petrified, she should not be able to use her ability either.
However, instead of him becoming able to unleash his powers, the ethereal world around him started to fizzle a bit, swirling around while blinking in crazy colours. Seed Alpha immediately retreated out of her mind, afraid that either his alarm system failed or even worse, that he lost control over his souls.
As he returned to reality again, he was greeted by a slight sting coming from the nape of his neck. Judging by his infrared sensors it was the human from before again. As astonishing as it was that he managed to sneak that close, it was tenfold more annoying that he broke the cyborg's concentration. Without doubt the first victim of the round would have been decided here and now, seeing that the few activated souls that were forced back into Seed Alpha's body fell into a rage.
Fortunately, part of his attention was diverted towards the wind-bringing sword that soared in the air, seemingly aiming for them. Channeling his overflowing power into diverting it, Fragarach met the ground about fifteen meters next to them.
The arriving winds swept the noticeably exhausted Kronosian from her feet, while the human was pushed back, but regained his balance. As he looked for Seed Alpha again, the cyborg was already fleeting in the air, heading towards the origin of the attack.
"Is there something that you wish of us, Son of Legends?"
