OK lemme get another point clear. The game will take place in a present time, sci-fi setting... I'll explain the rest of the setting, and rules regarding that once I get a tally of players willing to play...

I didn't really wanna give too much detail regarding this as this game isn't gonna be some epic "defeat this great whatever dude who wants to conquer the planet" campaign, but it will be open-ended (The starting place for the game will be oddish and give players some initial motivation to press forward, but again I'd rather not let players know how it will all start)... So for those players that want to "prepare" for this game world I would rather them create a person with whatever skillz they want for the sake of roleplaying rather than the sake of metagame thinking....
Also this is meant to be a game where players start with normal (normal in gaming terms at least) characters.
OK back on topic. To give you some guidance, this game will take place in a present day, sci-fi setting. By sci-fi I mean you have some leniency in terms of what perks/quirks you give ur characters... I'll paste an example of 1 of the NPC later today...
On character creation...
Character Pool = 3
Perk/Quirk Limit = 5
Attributes should be skills related to the common world...
Regarding weapon attributes (for guns), break it into catergories example: Small Firearms (x), Medium Firearms (x), etc....
Also there will be "Magic" in the game, but your characters will only learn of this later, and as such you'll only be able to take attributes for that when you discover it...
Your character sheet will start out bland, but it'll expand as the game progresses, as well as on the decision your characters make.
