Server Maintenance

Hello Everyone,

The server's going through some maintenance. There maybe some down time for the game site. During this time the forums should remain accessible.

We are upgrading the software on the server. It doesn't really change much about the game itself, but hopefully it should help the server's stability.

Unfortunately we are still working on the server. I really don't have a feel for how much longer this will take, but hopefully we can get it fixed before the weekend.

So... our games arn't going to be keeping days gone by, right? In other words, we wont be getting closer to being booted as time goes by?

Well I couldn't log in due to "server maintenance" for about a week, and now I have been removed from several games I was competing in due to being inactive.

I'm disappointed there was no extension given to those people who had their turn during the server downtime.

The time may not have been counting while the server was down but this was not much help for someone who had less than 12 hours left to make a turn. I wasn't going to be able to man my email inbox 24/7 while I waited for the notification of the server being back up.

Unless improvements are made on how this sort of situation is handled in the future, I have no more time for a site that is run in this way. :(
