Hm that is somewhat problematic. And as you said, it does have an effect on the balance, although I'm not sure if it's very significant.

As for solutions, I am very opposed to restarting games on the map. It takes people long enough to make/join games as it is, and it's already almost the end of July. And at this point only 2 games have yet to be started, so it would not be favorable to have 2 games occur on a different map.

I suggest just playing with the symmetry error. Knbys is not around, so there is not a chance of him editing the map. So @Kam, I think you and shompiador should just start your game even with the error. It is unfortunate, but I don't think it will affect things that significantly (it is not a game-winning advantage, that is).

Well I generally don't give strict deadlines, but if it isn't made by next week, you can decide whether you want the auto-win or not. After all if you really want to play the game I'm not going to stop you, even if it was made really late.
