AWBW Team Tournament

I thought it was strange that i hadn't had a turn on the team game for a while... and it turns out it's been just skipping my turns completely.

Here's the log.

Anyone ever come across this before?

@Ultra: I'd imagine unless someone takes over running it for Hellraider that it won't continue... I would normally volunteer to help out, but I have quite enough on my plate around here as it is haha.

@Dhomo: It looks like the game decided that since AB is getting AETed you shouldn't get a turn either

Since I'm pretty much quitting AW after this tourney and I don't have a whole lot, I'll run the tourney, or at the very least help run it. So...anyone want to help?

(First thing we need to do is replace hellraider and shompiador kazablaza, and also anyone else who needs to be replaced.)

Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy to find replacements. It seems that there aren't very many people around who are very interested in competitions (look at Ploumeur's DART season 2 signups...).

That just leaves the team games, one of which is screwed up since Hellraider's gone...

So is this going to continue after the first round? I ask because Hellraider and Harti have both dropped from AWBW, ECK got AET'd in our team game, and I'm not sure if anyone else has disappeared also. Just wondering if I should continue to check this thread in the future.

I really doubt that this is going to continue right now. Maybe in the future someone will pick it up again, but for now I'd consider it dead...

I was actually thinking of one that was probably 2 years ago lol, but yeah Heartless may have supplied a 2v2 fix for people, in a way. Maybe later in the year I'll come up with something.

It's a shame for the game but I was winning now in any case. For a while, I had a clear property disadvantage but I turned the game around, which is rare on AWBW.

This replay was definitely worth watching. Thanks for sharing it! I was tempted to call you dead man walking, when you drew back your forces, consolidated and striked back. Very nice game.

It seemed certain you would lose after the property disadvantage, but the following attacks and properly positioned units unveiled a hard-fought victory.

I will bank all my funds that Sothis will be a better player after this game.
