Sturm is absolutely nasty on that map, more so than i expected when i picked him. Probably broken.

If someone tried to stop a capture of the northernmost tower by sturm, it would totally screw up one's capture phase.

Actually, it seems simple, but i think it is often taken for granted that javier with 1T has to first get the tower before he gets his stats upgrade, unlike other cos who have a built in d2d. This could be a real problem for javier on maps with contested towers, such as this one.

Imo Sturm > javier 1T

You're right that Sturm is better on maps where he's broken due to his movement. Of course!

But Javier1T is significantly better otherwise for many reasons. Basic stats are better, powers are better and much more frequent, and 2HKO ability is better.

Jav only becomes good when he gets his tower, if a tower can be contested in the way it was in that game, Jav is as good as lost.

That, and the fact of lol sturm.

Sturm actually isn't a problem on that map imo

I should've gotten airport like two days earlier but I didn't because I'm a little rusty on my capture phases (actually on day one I sent infantry up then realized I should've sent it down immediately after I moved).

Basically all that harassment would've been stopped easily under normal circumstances.

Sturm is probably the best top tier CO overall and is often worth banning. Even without heavily abusing perfect movement, he can usually wall you for infinity and flatten you with meteors.

True, but not much. On almost all maps, by the time you factor in terrain bonuses, id take sturms d2d.
