I like the map choice since you can't predict what's going to happen. Are they gonna rush the central island with Colin? Are they building up defense lines with Grit? Are they gonna play safe and choose Sami, or are they taking Sturm, abusing the fatal Recon issues on this map? And whom can you choose to counter Sturm's Recon and how good is that CO in the other cases?

hmmm you kept your word smacky, I'm having a tough decision picking which CO I want to use. each CO has his merits on this map.

For those who asked, yes the Tournament is single elimination, -LIES AND SLANDER WERE ONCE HERE- so you guys gotta do your best not to make any careless mistakes.


EDIT: Okay so it does support double elimination, my bad. I guess it's up to smack to decide on that.

Tournament Brackets

The matches that look like good first round matches are Dragunov vs. Apex, Harti vs. Duelstriker, and Everzwijn vs. Glenstorm in my opinion.

Aww, but the tournament sign-ups were so much fun! Can't we just keep doing that? I just don't know how the tournament itself can be as great as the sign-ups... though that might be partially because I completely forgot what this tournament was actually about months ago.

Anyway... at first I thought there's no point in single elimination since I looked at the brackets and realized I can't possibly get past Glenstorm in round 3 anyway (Or Rockman in round 4, or Zovea in the finals for that matter). But then I realized something... Hiram Munn is probably going to be a dark horse who will come out of nowhere and win the tournament, so I won't get past round 1, which is obviously the only way someone like me would lose in round 1, aside from getting paired against Benbever for the 42nd time, because I'm awesome and I can't lose unless I'm against an exceptionally powerful opponent, or unless I get bored and stop caring midgame.

My CO choice is sent. Hiram Munn, you are the one in this tournament with the most potential to cause an upset in this tournament! Let us have an interesting match of potential and ambition vs. experience and wisdom! This will be a legendary battle to be remembered for ages (Or until whenever the game can't be replayed anymore)!
