Welcome back!

Yeah, it's too bad, I would really have wanted to finish this game, and win my place in final the hard way. Now I have to beat US to prove that I deserve my place, this will not be easy! ;)

I resigned against US.
In the opening, I tried to put a lot of pressure on US's lonely base, which costed me an income deficit.
Later, I made a misclick at a time which basically lost one AA for me, which ended my last hopes of winning by rolling over the base.
Later, US simply forgot to move his Stealth, which gave me back some hope, but the 3k income difference was just too much for me to handle.
The last turn, US's attack was tougher than I expected, and I didn't play optimally in response. And, with the 3k income deficit, I don't think I can come back after that.

It was a good game, although in retrospect, Shangri-La seems a bit stalematey and a day limit would have been a good idea. It's incredibly difficult to advance through the mountain areas and pressuring the lone base is difficult because of the presence of air units.

Shangri-la is not THAT stalematy, there was still some motion going on. A better idea would have been to have powers. With powers, we would have been able to perform bolder attacks.

It's always true that powers make it easier to make crucial attacks but in my experience, Shangri-La is relatively stalematey even with powers. It takes long to actually corner the lone base, especially against stealths, like in the game between benbever and Hellraider. So, a sensible day limit and capture limit should be used in any case. Even our game took 23 days and it might have easily taken longer; you were able to defend your area decently even with significantly smaller funds.

Benbever got AET. I may change turn with play nothing.
But If I got it. My 2 Stealth crash by no fuel.
It is indeed unfair. So I'll get fuel to Stealth.

http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/4919/r3gt.png

Pink tile lives my HP9 Stealth(No fuel).
Orange is my HP2 Stealth.
Green is my HP10 Infantry. Its right side is my HP5 Stealth(No fuel)
Last, Yellow is HP10 APC.

My turn's action is, delete green tile's Infantry.
Yellow tile's APC go to green tile and supply.
Orange tile's Stealth go to pink tile's Stealth and join. end my turn.

If I join Stealth, HP9 Stealth was repaired.
But it was hid. And his no fuel Stealth is HP2.
It will not attack my Stealth. no problem.
I'll got 3 penalties. so...

1, I Lost 1 Infantry(To decrease my turn's action)
2, Repaired Artillery can to attack my Tank
3, Battleship will be attack my APC

I accept those penalties. I got AET earliyer than he at once.
This game ends soon I think. Mr Rast, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting.

Our mustn't use fund is 42000G(21000 x 2 AET day) now.
So my real fund is 1500G. He is 100G(He lost money by my SCOP).

I think if benbever gets AET'd another time you might be considered the winner.

This game has lasted way too long. I think BMB should get the win.

Yep the game does need to end soon.

But bear in mind that BMB got AET'd a while back, and benbever then AET'd himself to make the situation fair again, so it would be unfair to penalise him when the situation is reversed, especially as the GT has no rules against AET (as generally the penalty is that your opponent gets essentially a free turn).

Nevertheless this game has gone on way too long so i figure that after 1 or two more turns the game will have to be adjudicated, unless one side resigns. And if anyone else gets AET'd after this, that will have to count as a resign.

benbever has now been AET'd twice in a row

Whilst it is acceptable to be AET'd, this game has continued for too long and given a double AET, it is clear that there isn't an attempt to keep it going. In addition, BMB should now be able to take enough of an advantage to secure the game in the long run.

As such, Black Mont-Blanc is declared the winner of this game, and benbever is therefore eliminated from the Grand Tournament.

As a result, the R4 match rast vs Black Mont-Blanc can now begin, on First To Fall. rast creates the game.

I assume the CO bans for the other game played on First To Fall were the same as for R3? Can someone confirm this though?

Is rast still around? I haven't seen him in IRC lately, and his Z-script isn't running anymore either. If nobody can find him, the next match would be BMB vs Dhomo on Shangri-La, where the winner faces Hellraider, where the winner faces Taz, where the winner faces Ultra Storm.
