I would have preferred to be informed beforehand that firing on a stunned unit unstuns it.

yeah that is a pretty big problem. Worst thing is I'm in a VB high funds match right now....hope that doesn't happen to me.

As hetchel said it only happens when you fire on a stunned unit. So you just have to attack other units. And since Ichbin picked VB too he won't be able to fire on stunned units neither (unless the shot kills them)

It's ok to fire on stunned units, but if you don't kill them, they will be able to move. So if you do like I do and use the stunned units as shield to protect your units, don't attack them. I lost some serious tank HP due to this

The good side to Von Bolt's power is that the missile won't damage your own units, contrarily to silo, Rachel, and Sturm's missiles.

It's okay if you leave some units utterly crippled after un-stunning them as long as they aren't required as shields. It depends.
